Metallobotbatka is a major global trade show for the machine tool industry and advanced metalworking technologies in Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Since 1984, it has gathered leading manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors from around the world. Nowadays, Metalloobrabotka has been listed as one of the top ten leading machine tool trade shows in the world. The METALLOOBRABOTKA is jointly organized by the Russian Machine Tool Association and the Expocentre Exhibition Center, and is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian Federation of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and the European Association for Machine Tool Industry Cooperation. This exhibition began in 1984 and is held annually. It is a large-scale and influential machine tool professional exhibition in the Russian region.

In 2019, the exhibition had a net exhibition area of 82637 square meters, with 1186 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions participating, attracting over 35096 visitors from 57 countries around the world. Internationally renowned machine tool companies have set up large-scale model booth exhibitions, including AMADA, DMG, EMAG-GRUPPEN, MAZAK, MUELLERMACHINES, SANDVIK, TRUMPF, etc. According to its scale and effectiveness, it has become one of the top ten industrial exhibitions in Europe. The German Machine Tool Association, Swiss Machine Tool Association, Italian Machine Tool Association, Spanish Machine Tool Association, Taiwan Machine Tool Association, and others organize large-scale national exhibition groups to participate in this exhibition.

3，Market demand is high

According to Samodurov, Chairman of the Russian Machine Tool Association, although Russia's economic development is currently unstable, the total production of modern tools and mechanical equipment in the country has been increasing. He said that the production of multi-purpose equipment is decreasing, while the production of CNC systems and machining centers is increasing year by year. China has become a major producer of metal processing equipment in the world, followed closely by Germany and Japan. These three countries produce approximately two-thirds of the world's metal processing equipment. The improvement of production level and the widespread use of metal processing equipment have become important prerequisites for the rapid advancement of technology in the future.
